ORGANIC: To reduce the toxin-load on our bodies, Tasha's uses only organic produce in all of our entrees, salads and desserts.
NO ADDITIVES: We cook with as few ingredients as possible. We do everything except mill the flour and catch the fish. We buy the produce fresh and make the food from scratch when you order. No high fructose corn syrup, MSG, preservatives or stabilizers means fewer toxins that your body has to filter through.
LOW-SODIUM: Most all of our dishes are low-sodium (< 140mg of sodium). If you are hyper-sensitive to sodium, we can prepare most dishes sodium-free. We add no MSG (monosodium glutamate) to our food.
VARIETY of FRUITS/VEGGIES: We use whole produce as features in our recipes, avoiding the use of genetically modified fruits and vegetables. Our menu is always plant-based. We help our customers to increase their daily intake with a variety of fruits and vegetables.
When we say "fried", it is never deep fried. Most items that are traditionally prepared fried, we bake.
HIGH-PROTEIN: We use beans to replace animal protein - which can contribute to disease. We feature several seafood items (for special order) to promote consumption of Omega fatty acids.
LOW-CARBOHYDRATES/HIGH FIBER: We sweeten with pureed fruit, coconut or honey. We do use organic sugar in our retail food offerings. This helps keep our food low-calorie and low-glycemic (diabetic friendly). We use brown rice, whole grains and beans galore! We never use artificial sweeteners. If you require sugar-free food, just ask.
REASONABLE PORTIONS: We advise our customers to "save some now, and eat some later" for large sizes. Our food is very filling, with robust flavor. People are usually satisfied with "mini" portions.
HYPO-ALLERGENIC: We take care to learn about each customer's preferences and sensitivities. We will always remain a reliable supplier of lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free and nut-free food choices - that you actually love to eat!
